The flight recorder slips into the opening of a slightly modifyed 3.1/8" hole. The recorder is held in place in a fiber glas tray. When the recorder is in place, the opening can be closed by a door, which acts as a holder for the pocket Nav. The angle can be ajusted to avoid reflection.
